In Mexico, the stomach ailments are the most common sickness, often called "Montezuma's Revenge" (Venganza de Moctezuma). Immunize and Vaccinations

Of course, you have to put your passport in a safe place, however, if you lose it, go or call the nearby consulate of your native country without delay for a replacement.

Immunizations are requirement in some cases, but in general it is not necessary; tourists that come to Mexico for their holidays are hundreds of thousands, they visit beaches, colonial cities, resorts, archaeological places, and other tourist places.
